Each chapter of my life has built on the last shaping of my perspective, strengthening my skills, and giving me the experience to guide others with confidence and care through their real estate
journey.
Sometimes it takes a defining moment to step into the next chapter of your life. For me, that moment wasn’t sudden, it was built over time through my professional experience and personal journey.
Before real estate, I spent 13 years with AT&T, where I developed a strong foundation in client relationships, negotiation, and results-driven service. It was a high-pressure, quota-driven environment, and I thrived. I was consistently a top producer and earned a place in the Leaders Council. More importantly, those years taught me how to build trust, stay organized, and show up every day focused on delivering results for my clients.

Originally from Boston, I grew up surrounded by strong role models who shaped who I am today. My father was a successful surgeon, my mother brought energy and joy into everything she did, and my grandmother, who lived to 109, walked a mile every day and golfed into her late 90s. Their influence instilled in me a strong work ethic, a sense of discipline, and a drive to always keep moving forward.
After earning my master’s degree, I began my career as a recruiter before transitioning into sales at AT&T. That experience gave me a deep understanding of people, what motivates them, how to communicate effectively, and how to guide them through important decisions.
In 2004, my husband’s job brought us to Austin. What we thought would be a two-year adventure quickly became home. With three young children and no family nearby, I made the decision to focus on raising our daughters and being present for every game, milestone, and moment that mattered.
At the same time, I stayed connected to my professional side by consulting in real estate, helping companies with relocation planning and market research. That experience gave me valuable insight into what people are truly looking for when they move to a new city, and what makes Austin such a special place to live.
As my children grew older and needed me less day-to-day, I knew I was ready for my next chapter. Real estate felt like a natural progression, an opportunity to build something of my own while using the skills I had developed throughout my career and life.

My background in corporate sales prepared me in ways I rely on every day. It taught me discipline, professionalism, and the importance of thoughtful communication, skills that are essential in guiding clients through one of the most important decisions they will make.
Having raised my family in Austin, I understand firsthand what people need at different stages of life. I know the neighborhoods, the schools, and the community resources that matter most. I’ve had the opportunity to work with first-time buyers, families relocating to Austin, and clients searching for luxury properties. Each experience is different, and that’s what I love—every client, every home, and every journey is unique.
Looking back, my story isn’t defined by one single path, but by the lessons learned along the way. From corporate America to raising a family to building a career in real estate, each chapter has shaped how I show up for my clients today.
Outside of work, I stay active teaching HIIT classes, golfing, skiing, and hiking. We also spend time at our homes in Winter Park and Florida. My three daughters, Alexis, Olivia, and Madison, are all driven and successful, and I’m now a proud grandmother, which is one of my greatest joys.
At the heart of my story is how I serve my clients.
I’m here to guide you, not rush you. I believe the best decisions are made with time, clarity, and the right information. Whether that means viewing multiple homes, revisiting neighborhoods, or taking a step back to reassess, I’m patient and focused on helping you make the choice that feels right for you.
I provide detailed market analysis, honest feedback, and clear guidance every step of the way, so you always feel informed and confident in your decisions.
I also take a concierge approach to the process, coordinating with inspectors, contractors, and lenders to ensure every detail is handled smoothly and efficiently.
My commitment doesn’t end at closing. I strive to be a long-term resource for my clients; someone you can rely on for guidance well beyond the transaction.
I don’t believe luxury is defined by price point; it’s defined by the level of service you receive. And that is something I believe every client deserves.
Sincerely,

Susan Russell
